STARLIGHTING DONATIONS

Dear Friends of Starlighting,

We invite you to join the Castle Rock Chamber on Saturday, November 21st for a day full of fun activities, culminating in the Starlighting ceremony at 5:00 pm. The lighting of the Star will be at approximately 5:30 pm followed by a fireworks show.  New in 2020, due to a COVID-19 pandemic, the Castle Rock Chamber had to make some changes to the event including three new viewing locations with limited capacity.  We are also encouraging residents to celebrate the lighting of the star by hosting their own smaller gatherings.  View our event website for details.  

The Castle Rock “Lighting of the Star” has been a community event shared by residents dating back to 1936. The same spirit of volunteerism, generosity and love of tradition exists today.

 Be sure to shop local and support your local businesses all season long.  The business community takes great pride and  “dresses” in its festive décor as the Castle Rock Chamber's Starlighting kicks off the holiday season each year.  In addition the Rink at the Rock will be opening and the huge tree at Festival Park and all the downtown lights will be sparkling as well.  

As you can imagine, the pandemic has impacted all of us greatly.  And the Castle Rock Chamber is no exception to this.  As a non profit organization, we depend heavily on contributions from our sponsors, member businesses, community partners and our residents.  Hosting the high quality, favorite community events (Starlighting, Artfest, WineFest, & Fair Parade) you've all become accustomed to is a bit more challenging this year, but our hope is that our changes will allow for all to enjoy Starlighting safely and in the spirit of season.   Thank you for your continuous support, we greatly appreciate it.  Together we are stronger.  CRCStrong!

Although any donation is appreciated, $100 or more will promote your family or business as a Friend of Starlighting on our website along with other Starlighting sponsors. A commemorative certificate and letter of thanks will also be mailed to you.
